Dancers for Events - Meet the Company
Dancers for Events are unique in that we use a core company of professional London based dancers and choreographers to create pieces for shows and events.
Our team have a wealth of experience having performed in West End Shows such as Grease, Cats, Wicked, Dirty Dancing and Chicago. They have appeared in films such as Phantom of the Opera and Harry Potter. They have appeared on TV in programmes such as BBC1’s Strictly Dance Fever, The X Factor and The Royal Variety Performance.
Kate Lauridsen - Artistic Director and Choreographer
Originally from Denmark Kate has been dancing since the age of two. Her career in dance has spanned over a decade working with some of the biggest names in the dance sector including Ballet Rambert, Matthew Bourne and Akram Khan. Kate’s passion for dance is deep felt and this has ensured her success in the industry seeing her perform and choreograph around Europe, the Middle East and North America.
Kate’s choreography has gained recognition internationally for its innovative and fresh approach. Her work has been seen on National television, independent film, advertising campaigns and at events across the world. Clients include Vogue Magazine, River Island, Barnardo's, Financial Times, 02, Samsung, Glee, Alton Towers and Rugby Football League to name but a few. Kate recently worked as movement director for an Amercian Vogue photoshoot with Daniel Radcliffe and photographer Annie Liebovitz.
Gemma Marie - Choreographer

Gemma trained at The London Studio Centre and graduated with a BA(Hons) Degree in Theatre Dance.
Since graduating she has appeared in various music videos and stage productions as well as cruising both the Caribbean and Med onboard a Celebrity Cruise Ship. Gemma also teaches street dance and cheerleading in various schools and academies across London, alongside preparing dance teams for competitions and events.
Gemma is currently performing in London's West End in We Will Rock You.
Aimee Singer - Dancer
Aimee trained at Millennium Dance 2000 and The Urdang Academy.
Her most recent credits include a Sony commercial, Street Dance 3-D, Bollywood Feature Films, MTV commercials and virals, So Solid Crew's music video and Everybody Dance Now (ITV). Aimee was the associate choreographer for the Cbeebies Summer Song as well as being a featured dancer in the video.
Aimee is an International Cheerleader with the International Allstarzz performing at events Worldwide. She has just finished performing with Potters Theatre Company as a lead Dancer/Vocalist performing with celebrities such as Stavros Flatley, Lemar, Jane McDonald, Stacey Soloman, Danyl Johnson and more.
Amanda Ainsley - Dancer
Born in the North East of England, Amanda began her professional training at the Newcastle Performance Academy. After graduating with a Foundation Degree in Musical Theatre, she moved south to continue her training at Doreen Bird College, where she successfully graduated with a BA (Hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance.
Amanda has worked with the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and Lets Dance Sports Relief choreographer, Richard Marcel for projects in conjunction with the BBC and ITV.
Amanda is currently appearing in We Will Rock You in London's West End.
Amber-Rose Henshall - Dancer
Amber-Rose is a versatile performer with a fiery desire to travel the world entertaining people in both Dance and Acting.
With 20 years of dance training and professional performing experience on stage, film, theatre, television and live performances, she has experienced many career highlights including a season of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream and television commercials, music videos and leading roles in many short films.
Having recently moved to London from New Zealand Amber has started another path of her professional journey hoping to inspire and wow people with her talent and passion for performing and bringing a character to life!
Angela Sheppard - Dancer
Angela trained at Northern Ballet School, Manchester.
Upon graduation Angela performed onboard Costa Cruise Lines as Production Manager and Dance Captain, from there she went on to tour all over Europe, UK and the USA as a principal dancer in Spirit of the Dance, other theatre credits include The Christmas Spectacular, The Nutcracker and as playing Millie from the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie under direction of Brian Rogers.
Film and television credits include Sky TV Showbusiness, Dancer/Model for Swarovski Diamonds trade show, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Holby City, Law and Order, numerous Corporate and Sporting Events and Dancer/Model for Sony Pictures Viral Commercial.
Brax - Dancer
Originally from France Brax is an accomplished break dancer having performed extensively across France, Germany, South Korea, Italy and the UK. His breakdancing skills have been showcased in theatre, film and TV as well as numerous corporate events.
Brax is an experienced dance teacher and choreographer teaching break dance to children and adults.
Brett Nelson - Dancer
Brett trained at Dance World 301 in Melbourne Australia.
His credits include Dancer in Dancing Queen - Spirit Productions, Featured Dancer in the film Bel Ami, Ensemble in Wizard of Oz, Dancer in Cartoonival Live - International Tour, Dancer in Barney's Beach Party - International Tour.
Brett has also been a dancer on Princess Cruises with choreographer William Forsythe. He has appeared on TV and has been a dancer at many corporate events across the world for brands including BMW, Samsung and O2.
Carly Southworth - Dancer
Carly trained at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks in Blackpool before moving to London to start her career as a professional dancer and model.
She has worked alongside some of the best choreographers in the business. Carly loves all aspects of the industry, performing on stage around Europe in hair, beauty and trade shows.
Carly has appeared in music videos including Mika's Blame it on the girls and Rain, Goldfrapp's Alive and Ian Brown's Just like you. She also appears on an E4 promo, Diesel commercial and on MTV and Ministry of sound promos. You may even recognise Carly as she is the face of the Vitamin water campaign appearing on billboards up and down the country.
Charlotte Hurry - Dancer
Charlotte trained at The Arts Educational School in Tring and the Royal Academy of Dance where she predominantly trained in Ballet and Contemporary.
During her degree she developed an interest in a wide range of dance styles from Bollywood to Classical Ballet.
Charlotte has performed in many contexts, ranging from Cruise Ships to performing with the Pop Star MIKA .
Corri Rodgers - Dancer
Corri is a very strong and versatile dancer having trained at Laine Theatre Arts in ballet, tap, commercial, street, contemporary and many more.
Corri is a qualified cheerleader and dance coach, coaching squads through all the top cheerleading competitions. Alongside her teaching she has performed in music videos, TV commercials, wedding shows, fashion shows, corporate events and films.
Corri is also a keen choreographer, working on all styles of dance for up and coming artists.
Faye Best - Dancer
Faye started her professional training at the age of 11 at the Urdang Academy in Covent Garden. She then gained a scholarship to train at Elmhurst Ballet School. Faye then completed her training at Italia Conti graduating with a diploma in performing arts.
Since graduating Faye's professional credits include Spirit of the Dance - UK Tour, Houdini The Musical - UK Tour, The Seaside Special - Cromer Pavilion Theatre, A Christmas Carol - UK Tour, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, The X-Factor, Mark Ronson Music Video, Aladdin - Liverpool Empire Theatre.
Faye is currently dance captain for the West End production of Dirty Dancing.
Francis Foreman - Dancer
Francis trained extensively in all aspects of dance at Tiffany Theatre College in Essex where he had the opportunity to work with leading choreographers from within the industry.
Since graduating he has performed all over the world with various cruise lines and was also assistant choreographer to comedienne Pam Ann and performed with her at London's Hammersmith Apollo and The London Palladium and toured across Europe and Canada.
Francis has also worked with Qdos Entertainment appearing at Belfast's Grand Opera House in Aladdin and Snow White. Most recently he has been working as a dancer for various Bollywood productions.
Hany El-Manchy - Dancer
Hany El-Manchy first opened his eyes to dance when he was in high school and rapidly developed into an acclaimed break dancer training at London Theatre School where he graduated with honours.
Hany's first break came when he appeared at the prestigious Breakin Convention at Saddlers Wells in 2005. Hany has since toured the UK as a dancer and choreographer with 20th Century Fox and Alvin and the Chipmunks, performed at Move It choreographed by Lindsay Eator in 2009 and has appeared in panto in Cinderella directed by Maurice Thorogood in 2010.
In addition to his performance work Hany enjoys teaching dance at Pink Academy.
Heather Scott-Martin
Heather trained at the BRIT School and Bird College.
Her credits include Dancer in Encore - A Musical Revue - NCL Productions, Shout - The Mod Musical - JAR Productions, Dancer in Beauty and the Beast at the Courtyard Theatre, Capezio Fashion Show at Olympia, Ripper - The Musical at the Orchard Theatre, Dancing in the Park at the Bloomsbury Theatre and Mind The Gap at the York Theatre in New York.
Jocelyn Mack - Dancer
Jocelyn is a versatile performer who enjoys many aspects of performance and has a great passion for dance. She graduated from Midlands Academy of Dance & Drama with a diploma in Musical Theatre.
Upon graduating she was asked to join the Ambassador Theatre Group in their production of Roald Dahl's The Witches - directed by Jonathan Church. She has toured the globe dancing for Spirit Productions on two of their production shows, Spirit of Broadway and Spirit of Christmas.
Other credits include Chicago & Beyond - UK Tour, Philips Electronics Commercial, SKY's Got To Dance ident and Corona for MTV.
Kaisey Johnston - Dancer
Kaisey started classes in tap and jazz at the age of five and at sixteen went on to a two-year full-time ballet course at National College of Dance in Newcastle, Australia.
In 2008 Kaisey joined the Melbourne Ballet Company as a soloist and part of the corps de ballet. In 2008 she was a finalist in the Youth American Grand Prix in New York and soon after worked with the Metropolitan Classical Ballet in Texas.
Most recently Kaisey appeared in Shoes The Musical at the Peacock Theatre. Other credits include assistant choreographer for SYTYCD Australia, JLS Commercial for O2, Shamelia Khan, RD-Ruff Diamonds, Pintsize and Toni and Guy Hair Idol.
Kara Fogerty - Dancer
Kara trained at The Royal Ballet School and Laine Theatre Arts.
Credits include: Model and Dancer in Schwarzkopf Hair Shows and L'Oreal, Dancer for P&O Cruises, Dancer in Cinderella for Hammond Productions at the Cresset Theatre in Peterborough and Dancer in Seeing You Tomorrow at the Epsom Playhouse.
Kara also choreographs and teaches for various companies across the UK.
Kate Louise Smith - Dancer
Kate Louise Smith trained at Leicester College Of Performing Arts.
She is a strong and versatile dancer who constantly strives for perfection throughout any production. Kate has experience in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Commercial, and many more styles of dance.
Kate has performed, taught and choreographed dance for venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and The London Palladium.
Katie Bradley - Dancer
Katie trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Her theatre credits include Boogie Wonderland - Broadway, Ticket To Ride - Qdos Productions, Thriller Live - UK and European Tour, Dick Whittington and Into The Woods.
Her TV credits include Nowhere To Hide - The Story of Hannah Foster for ITV, Louie Spence's Show Business - Mark Battershall for SKY TV and TCM Capture Your Classic - Fame - for TCM Productions.
Katie Marcham - Dancer
Since Graduating from Bird College in Kent with a BA (Hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance, Katie has worked as a professional dancer in the UK and abroad including a six-month contract in India working as a dancer in Bollywood.
She has continued to work in the UK in music videos, TV Commercials, fashion shows, corporate events, live shows and events, modelling and dancing. This work has given her the chance to work with such artists as Kylie Minogue, Marty Kedulka, Alphabeat and for Magic TV.
Kevin Young - Dancer
Hailing from Scotland Kevin trained at London Studio centre gaining a BA (hons) in Theatre Dance.
He has danced in music videos for artists such as Florence and the Machine, Plan B and The Pipettes to name just a few.
Kevin has danced in various shows, corporate events and television shows including Justin Lee Collins Good Times, Richard and Judy, X-Factor Live, MTV, T-Mobile and HSBC.
He enjoys choreographing in contemporary, hip hop and jazz. Kevin has taught at Pineapple Dance Studios and has choreographed for dance schools, dance groups, dance companies and colleges.
Marina Guarnieri - Dancer
Originally from Rome Marina began her training at Tersicore Dance Institute where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Flamenco with some of the most important Italian choreographers and teachers.
She has worked as a dancer in many shows for Cinecittà Entertainment and in TV Shows such as Amici and Buona Domenica. In 2005 she danced in the musical show The Wizard Of Oz in Rome and on tour across Italy.
Marina spent a year in Disneyland being a dancer and aerialist (on bungees) in shows and parades. She then danced for Art and Show S.r.l. in Venice and in musicals such as The Lion King, Romeo et Juliette, Cinderella and in a tribute show to Michael Jackson.
Nicole Starling - Dancer
Nicole began dancing at the age of 5. She trained under Cynthia Harvey as part of the Norfolk Dance Scholars programme and then at Stella Mann College, Bedford.
She has performed in a variety of productions and events, including competing in the National Disco Freestyle and Rock n Roll finals at Blackpool Winter Gardens, appearing for three seasons in Seaside Special at the Cromer Pier Pavilion and dancing at Move It! Dance exhibition at the Kensington Olympia.
Nicole also has musical theatre experience, having appeared in productions including Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line, 42nd Street and The Boy Friend. Recently, Nicole has played the lead role in The Last Dance for Full House Theatre Company.
Roman Tio - Dancer
Roman Tio was born in Holland. He spent most of his youth developing his skills in martial arts combined with break dancing and acrobatics. He has since learned several other street dance styles including popping/locking, Hiphop, Newstyle and House.
He performed in the musical Tarzan in the Netherlands and went onto Paris to perform in the parades in Disneyland. There he learned many new skills including ice-skating and stilt-walking.
After moving to London he has pursued his dance career performing at contemporary dance shows, TV commercials, films and stage shows.
Sam Vickers-Shore - Dancer
Sam trained at London Studio Centre.
He is a versatile commercial dancer who has worked with artists including Cheryl Cole, JLS, Duffy, and Bucksfizz. His professional modelling credits include London Fashion Week, Marks & Spencer, Harrods, Aveda, Sony Ericsson and FIFA.
Sarah Riches - Dancer
Sarah trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Her theatre credits include: A Performance For Young People In The Arts at Buckingham Palace, Dick Whittington - Birmingham Hippodrome, Starlight Express - Bochum Germany, The Royal Variety Show - Cardiff Millennium Centre.
Her TV and music video credits include: Grease Is The Word - ITV, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway - ITV, Germany's Next Top Model - with Katy Perry, Turn Your Back on Love - I Blame Coco, Hit n Run - Monrose and You Are The Music In Me - Disney Channel.

Sup Dhanasunthorn - Dancer
Sup trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.
His theatre credits include: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Miss Saigon and Peter Pan - Merry Go Round Playhouse, Falstaff - Berkeley Opera, Simply Ballroom - Qdos, Spirit of Christmas and Spirit of Broadway - touring China, USA and Canada.
TV and film credits include: Bacardi, Nescafe, Very.co.uk, Olly Murs and Saturday Night Live.
Suzannah Bremner - Dancer
Suzannah trained at London Studio Centre graduating with a BA (Hons) in Theatre Dance.
She has recently worked alongside Simeon Qsyea, the choreographer for JLS and Alexandra Burke, assisting on Alexandra Burke's new music video. She was a featured dancer on the trailer for So You Think You Can Dance? 2011 and has appeared in dance commercials in America for leading brand Five Star.
She has performed around the world and has worked as a model for Kopparberg Lager and independent clothing brands.
Suzie Smith - Dancer
Suzie graduated from Millennium Performing Arts with a national diploma in musical theatre.
She has worked with choreographers such as Stephen Mear, Chris Tudor, Ikky Maas and Spencer Soloman in different dance styles such as tap, jazz and contemporary.
Suzie’s TV and film work involves Doctors and These Foolish Things. Recently Suzie was a featured dancer in music video Drop Pause (Wine ana Skank) with artists A-Mens, Locksmuth, Jamakabi and S.V and also was a dancer/performer in the ITV pilot Show Choir choreographed by Lucie Pankhurst and music direction by Mike Dixon.
Thomas Read - Dancer
Thomas was born in Newcastle, Australia, and started dance at a young age after neing inspired by his older siblings.
He trained in tap and jazz with Darren Disney from Tap Dogs. He is highly experienced in contemporary, classical ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, acting and singing and attended the full time ballet course at the National College of Dance in Australia.
His latest credits include: Ruff Diamonds, Pineapple Dance TV, Pintsize, Barclays Viral Campaign and Rowdy Superstar.
Vivian Gayle - Dancer
Vivian trained at Debonair Dance Academy becoming accomplished in Jazz, Street, Disco, Pas de Deux, Ballet and Tap.
A regular at Pineapple Dance Studios, Vivian is an experienced and versatile dancer able to bring dynamic physical energy to any performance.
Having gained valuable experience dancing on Mediterranean cruise ships Vivian has appeared on leading stages such as The Royal Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, Saddler's Wells and many more. . .
